Looking for a positive, caring, genuine, creative singer/performer, willing and eager to give time and attention to isolated seniors and people in care settings, and creatively collaborate with fellow artists, for two projects that run simultaneously:
Actor in Twilight Cabaret – written and directed by Tom Carson, choreographed by Allison Plamondon
3 characters:
MC – Warm hearted, generous young man who more than anything wants to qualify as a senior citizen
Phillipe – caregiver to Hazel, a “difficult” senior living in a care home. Caring, compassionate, and not afraid to stick up for himself
Teddy – Hazel’s husband – playing different ages/moments in their lives together
Serenader
A member of the Serenades ensemble, offering informal musical performances and interactions for seniors and those who live in care environments
Dates: Jan 16 – March 4, 2023
Pay: $700/week guaranteed, additional $20/hr for over 35 hours (CAEA ITA TYA Contract)
