Smile Theatre is casting!
Looking for positive, caring, genuine, creative dancer/singer/performers, willing and eager to give time and attention to isolated seniors and people in care settings, and creatively collaborate with fellow artists, for two projects that run simultaneously.
Dancer/singer/actors in the show, “And I Never Stopped Dancing” written and directed by Allison Plamondon
and Core Serenaders, members of the Serenades ensemble, offering informal musical performances and interactions for seniors and those who live in care environments.
We especially encourage folx who identify as Black, Indigenous, People of Colour, LGBTQ2S+, d/Deaf, Mad, Disabled/People with Disabilities, and/or Neurodiverse to submit.
Dates: March 13 – May 20, 2023
We tour the show and visit seniors care homes throughout the GTA
Pay: $700/week guaranteed, additional $20/hr for over 35 hours (CAEA ITA TYA Contract)
