But it’s also the volunteer at the local hospital, the small-town peewee hockey coach, or the editor of the community paper, writing about local heroes. It’s the national generosity of spirit that welcomes diversity and promotes tolerance. It’s the mountains of Alberta and the vistas off Cape Breton Island. As this show tours to our Smile venues around Southern Ontario, we will invite our audiences to add names and places and events that are meaningful to them, building as we go a colourful, musical quilt of the best of Canada’s first 150 years. From the most unforgettable, national moments in Canadian history, to the most personal and individually meaningful, this unique Smile show will remind us why living in Canada fills us with Pride And Joy!
